Bifco

Bifco is a professional e-commerce platform specialized in new and used car engines and transmissions, based in Canada. Our mission was simple: build a complete, scalable digital infrastructure that automates the entire product lifecycle — from data collection to customer support — allowing the business to operate efficiently at scale.

As a full-stack developer and passionate member of the team, I was involved across the entire stack. This is the largest and most complex project I have delivered in my career.

We built and integrated the following systems:

• WordPress / WooCommerce — custom storefront with 190,000+ automated product listings
• Python Scraping Pipeline — continuously collects, normalizes, and feeds product data
• Google BigQuery (GCP) — 7 structured datasets for engines, transmissions, staging, backups, and scrape history
• n8n + OpenAI — AI-powered chatbot guiding customers through the buying process, querying live inventory, and escalating to human agents when needed
• Automated Price Update System — keeps store prices in sync with market data in real time
